Titus Tactical was founded by a serving Canadian police officer who wanted to solve a problem that he saw at repeated high-risk calls. While establishing vehicle containment, officers had limited options for preventing a stationary vehicle from being used as a weapon of opportunity or escape aid. He knew there had to be a simpler, safer, and more effective way to disable vehicles.
The Wheel Hook 1 was not designed at a desk. It came together over multiple rounds of research and development, with repeated trips to local auto wreckers to test prototype after prototype against real wheels and real vehicles. Each round exposed what worked, what bent, and what had to change — and every revision was driven by what an officer would actually need in the field, under stress, with no time to spare.
That hands-on process is why the tool is what it is today: durable, intuitive, and built to perform when it matters most. The tools are made in Canada to be durable and withstand repeated field use— from the method of deployment to the materials we use — answers to the people who will carry them in the field.
The mission of Titus Tactical is to provide police officers with simple and effective tools that increase the safety of the public and police.
